We played a number of Ukelekes under $80 and this is the best value for that budget! The tone, feel, and look of this instrument makes it the obvious choice and definitely worth the slightly higher price than the cheaper makes.

We had been looking at a number of concert ukeleles in the $150-$200 price range and best liked the sound of one of the higher end Leho models. We decided to play this one just for the comparison, expecting to see a difference, and both the sales person and I were pleasantly surprised that we liked it just as much! The materials are not as expensive but it is nicely crafted, has a beautiful warm tone, good clarity, depth of sound, and the range of the high notes was excellent. We both liked it much better than a number of other brands of ukuleles that were twice as expensive. For an entry-level concert ukulele I don’t think you could do better and at this price point it allowed us to also get a better quality case to protect it for many years.
