I purchased this guitar case 3 days ago and it’s a perfect fit for my Epiphone Casino.
I also had an issue with the “sickly sweet” odour that others have reported. I used tea bags and a couple of bowls of coffee grounds and a couple of baking soda, it helped, but when stood the case upright and open then pointed a fan into and let it get aired out for a day, that I was able to eliminate the odour altogether. So I would suggest that going with the fan first would resolve this problem right away. It’s a really well made, good quality hard shell case for $99 and it’s made in Canada

I was looking for a case for my G5620T. Another store had no better suggestions other than an oversized gig bag or acoustic case. I called L&M Orleans and within minutes Christian researched and suggested this case - much appreciated! Fits like a glove on a hand. Solid case made in Canada (hope they still are to support Canadian manufacturing)

am very pleased with this case ...fits my guitar like a glove ..decent quality for the price ....the candy like smell is easy to get rid of....leave case flat and spread 4 tea bags inside..close case for 3 days..then discard tea bags and leave case open for a few hours...put in 4 fresh tea bags and leave case closed for 2 days ..open and discard bags ...keep open for a few hours and case should be fine .....

Have a Gretch G5622t was looking all over for a case alternatives were close to $275 (taxes in) plus like $40 to ship for a Gretsch brand case. Could not find a soft shell - this one fits like a glove - wish I could post a picture

Purchased a used Gretsch 5620 that didn't come with a case
The salesman originally looked at an acoustic case, but this one fits with the bigsby stowed
I think they have fixed the "smell" issue that others have noted
It is a no frills case that seems to be working well

I recently bought an Epi 335 style guitar and one of these cases. One of the latches barely fit and was not really under any tension. It came undone without un-latching it, and, it smelled like sickly sweet candy. I think this was off gassing of the glue they used. It wasn't too bad but the smell and the latch meant an exchange. The new case I got had good fit and finish but a much worse smell. I am pretty sure this is toxic, gives me an instant headache and the smell has not cleared after a few weeks. You don't notice it right away but if you leave the case open and are anywhere near it, you can smell it. Really bad driving in the car with the windows up and not inspirational of playing. I will be looking for a different case. Long and McQuade may want to get this information back to their supplier. Maybe speed up the cure time of the glue so the toxic smell dissipates quicker.
