The T Series is from ADAM Audio's new range of affordable, professional 2-way powered studio monitors. Offering extremely high performance, the T5V features a 5" woofer and U-ART high-frequency driver (Unique Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter); a beveled cabinet design, rear-firing bass reflex port, built-in DSP-controlled driver crossovers and equalization, and multi-way analog connections; and are compatible with the ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers.

The monitors small dimensions belie its outstanding performance: the wide frequency response, high dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprints make the T5V perfectly suited for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and radio broadcast. And because of its attractive price point the T5V is a great fit for the modest budgets that many facilities need to work with.

With its 5" woofer the bass-frequency response of the T5V extends to 45 Hz. The new U-ART tweeter, a breakthrough solution for use in high-resolution recording and mixing on a budget, goes up to 25 kHz and is mated to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in ADAM Audio's flagship S Series monitors. The waveguide's highly uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a rigid mix position while working.

  • U-ART 1.9" Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter with HPS Waveguide

  • Polypropylene 5" woofer and rear-firing bass-reflex port

  • Cumulated Amp. Power RMS: 70 W

  • Frequency Response: 45 Hz - 25 kHz

  • Max. SPL Per Pair at 1 m: >=106 dB

  • Analog inputs over XLR and RCA

you will find no better speaker at even $1000/pair. was looking at totems, focal, b&w, kef... read a review in the absolute sound... they said the t5v was as close to reference that you can get. i bought them. now i have buyers remorse (guilt) cause i paid so little for them. how rare is that! prepare to be floored.

Bought a pair of these guys last year. I listen to edm in a fully treated room with six to eight inch thick panels every, included ceiling and soffits. Made all myself, I have the matching T10s sub and wow what a difference compared to the classic 5 I owned. These speakers are loud, they are clear and because I listen to low end music I have a -2 cut in the highs on the treble tilt on each speaker. Perfecto!

I had a pair of Yorkville monitors years ago. I liked them. When I got back into music and needed to rebuild my basement studio I went looking for the same ones. But thanks to the salesperson I ended up with these. When I A/B'd them side by side the ADAM Audio T5V were the clear winners. And I mean clear. The Yorkvilles sounded dull and muddy compared to the bright [not overly] articulate ADAM monitors. Bass is loud and tight. To my ears they are a very colorless sounding monitor. I did take a point off of the "features" category due to there being only an on/off switch on the back. No LED or any other indication on the front face to let me know if the monitors are on or off. In the several months that I have owned them I have found that I have forgotten to power them down a few times. Come on ADAM Audio, one tiny LED on the front please! Otherwise, they are well worth the money.

I added these to my pair of Alesis Monitor 1. Don't need a power amp - bonus. They have a great spread and the phantom centre is very noticeable and workable. They really shine in the top end which helps in mixing. Beefy for such a small driver. Good choice for near field. Only complaint is the rear power switch; put both on a power bar - Adam customer service confirmed this was fine.

I bought these with half my first CESB check. Looking back now, I could have saved my money and gotten Focals or something a lot more expensive, but now that I've gotten to really know these monitors, I won't be replacing them for a while. They're crisp and clear, and in my opinion, better for acoustic music than silk dome tweeter monitors. I'll mix for hours and hours and not get tired. I only wish they had controls on the front. These really excel when it comes to soprano voices as well! Beautiful clarity!!

First impression, these reference monitors are are crisp and clean. Unlike many monitors of this size, these have a surprising low end response when governed correctly. They are true and unfiltered in their frequency response as per usual with Adam's reputation! I highly recommend these monitors, as they are the real deal! Special call out to Cory at L&G Highlands in Edmonton for the sound adv ice! Thank you!!!!

Wanting to improve my monitors I've been looking at options that were in my limited budget range. I've always loved a friend's A7Xs but they were out of my price range. The T5Vs are amazingly close in sound at a fraction of the price. If you're looking for great monitors at a great price you really should audition these. There's a reason they get rave reviews.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.

Great Additions
