I really like these stands. How people can say they fall over, or drop their guitars is beyond me. STOP WALKING INTO THEM!!! Don't be so careless around your stuff. I have three of them which safely support my Les Pauls [R8, 50's Standard] and my ES335. Never had an issue. I am getting one more for my Taylor 614ce. The only negative is they DO NOT PROTECT nitrocellulose finish as the manufacturer claims, and thus the 4.5 star rating. Make sure you wrap a layer of cotton on them where the guitar touches the stand. I found this out first hand and there are enough reports of this in guitar forums. Any stand will do this. Bottom line, these are great stands.

This stand is great. Don't listen to the negative comments. I have two of them, 10 years...no problems. 4/5

This stand does not protect your guitar. It always leans forward. It almost dropped my Gibson and telecaster on the ground. I am looking into a Hercules or Fender stand, or D& A.

Do Not Buy This Stand!!!! I have had two guitars fall over and break because of the design of this piece of junk. I've had guitar for 40 years hanging on stands and both broken ones have been with this stand.

This is a great stand with one note of caution. It's very stable due to its wide rubberized feet and attractively displays your guitar. The locking mechanism also helps keep your guitar safe. Adjusting the height is easy. However, if your guitar has a narrow head stock at the base, there's a chance the cradle will contact your lower tuning keys. The Martin headstock is a good example. It might alter the tuning while it sits in the stand.
