These are marketed for small snares but nothing could be better for flying my 12" tom. I find in my old age i love the traditional set up for ergonomics (And of course how cool it looks). Using a reg snare stand you have to fiddle around a bit to hold your 12". This is designed specifically for 12" diameter drums. Super sturdy. Typically excellent Yamaha build. The literature says 10" - 12" snares but haven't tried my 10" tom yet. I've taken all the mounting hardware off of all my kicks and toms so i can use this. If this was marketed to that demographic, prolly be selling these like hot cakes. I had no idea this stand even existed. Thank you Yammie !!

I bought this smaller diameter snare stand for a Yamaha DD65 drum pad (used for busking) because a standard snare stand is on too much of an angle to hold the DD65 properly (I am sure it would be the same for the DD75). This holds the smaller size e-drum shell snares too without the extreme angle of a standard snare drum stand.

I bought this stand less than a month ago, but now I need to return it because it actually does not adjust to hold the standard 14" diameter Yamaha snare drum. Hopefully, the medium sized stand will work. I was actually hoping to buy a used stand.
