The perfect no-nonsense pedal for the musician who looks for value. Excellent build quality, neat design that allows the pedal to be folded for storage and transport. Smooth and effective action. Typical Yamaha quality. It will not replace a $400 pedal but for $100, it is as good as it can get.

I bought two after already acquired iron cobras and eliminator redlines, for my double kick drum setup. I can fly just as fast and do intricate patterns on these as I can with the high end kicks!
Simplicity of the 7210's is their strong point = just play them.
The only thing I did (and always do) was ditch the factory beaters in lieu of heavier solid beaters.
Otherwise these get the job done well with a very nice responsive, snappy action to boot!
Don't let anyone tell you that you need tricks/demons/9000's ect to play fast intricate footwork.
I play thrash metal with these little radius rod yamahas without any complaints. It's mostly in your technique!!!
